As advised last month, residents may find that some street lights operating to ‘part night’ hours are switching off slightly earlier than usual following the autumn hour change.
Typically, lights in some areas may switch off at about 10.45pm, rather than 11.45pm.
Work is continuing to address this issue and all lights will have been corrected by the end of November.
As part of this work, lights will also be adjusted to operate to the council’s revised part-night lighting regime of 1am to 5am, providing an extra hour of light each night.
