This round of meetings will include information about upcoming Post Office service changes, South Gloucestershire Council’s localism plans and details of the new waste strategy consultation. Laura Tartling, Senior Stakeholder Manager for the Post Office will give a presentation on the changes being made to Post Office Services, and the impact upon Post Offices within the local area. Mark King, Head of StreetCare at South Gloucestershire Council will explain the way in which StreetCare propose to manage the way that some highway and street scene services are provided. South Gloucestershire Council’s new waste strategy consultation will also be discussed.
There will also be updates on the Local Transport Capital Programme, the New Homes Bonus grants scheme and the Positive Activities Subsidy Grants Programme.
Area Forums additionally include an open session for members of the public to put any questions to councillors and officers, so why not come along, join in the debate and have a say where local funding is spent.

Forums bring together parish councils, community organisations, local residents and councillors and everyone attending is encouraged to join in the discussions before any formal decisions are made. It is your chance to have your say so please come along.
