The job fairs and advice days will be held on Wednesday 26 February at Yate Library and on Thursday 6 March at Kingswood Library, between 10am and 2pm. The aim of these events is to provide an opportunity for jobseekers to meet with a variety of employers and talk face to face about vacancies, apprenticeships, and other upcoming employment opportunities.

There will also be advice and information about employment available, including details of apprenticeship schemes, tips for effective CV writing and guidance on accessing training.

A wide variety of organisations from South Gloucestershire will be represented at the two events, offering a range of full and part-time, temporary and permanent vacancies, alongside a range of useful information on offer from training companies and other providers of recruitment advice.

Confirmed attendees include representatives from South Gloucestershire Council, Jobcentre Plus, South Gloucestershire & Stroud College, National Apprenticeship Service, N-Gaged Training & Recruitment, Army, NHS, Care UK, Marshfield Bakery, WDM, Reflections, Danco Marquees, Bromford and many more.

As well as assisting job seekers, these events will also offer employers a great way to meet potential employees, and to advertise and promote their current job vacancies. Places for employers are free but limited, to book please call 0117 9913248.
