Chair to attend Merchant Navy Day flag raising at South Gloucestershire Council offices, Badminton Road, Yate.

Thursday 8 September

Chair to unveil foundation stone at new development of care facilities for older people (particularly those living with dementia) for The Order of St John Care Trust in Thornbury.

Thursday 8 September

Chair to attend the Institution of Civil Engineers South West & Wales Cymru celebration event for the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Severn Bridge, at Beachley, Chepstow.

Saturday 10 September

Chair to attend Pilning & Severn Beach Local History Group’s exhibition day to mark the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the first Severn Bridge, at Severn Beach Village Hall, Ableton Lane, Severn Beach.

Tuesday 13 September

Chair to attend Summer Reading Challenge medal ceremony at Kingswood Library, High Street, Kingswood. South Gloucestershire libraries have celebrated 100 years of Roald Dahl as the theme to this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Saturday 17 September

Chair to attend Yate International Festival at Yate Heritage Centre, Church Road, Yate.

Tuesday 20 September

Chair to attend Avon Federation of Women’s Institute Annual meeting at BAWA, Southmead Road, Filton.

Sunday 25 September

Chair to attend a Family Fete & Craft Fayre fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Research at Holiday Inn, Filton Road, Filton.

Monday 26 September

Chair to attend Bristol & South Gloucestershire Girlguiding Awards Evening at St Brendan’s Sixth Form College, Broomhill Road, Brislington, Bristol.

Wednesday 28 September

Chair to attend South Gloucestershire Community Learning Celebration Event at Wheatfield Primary School, Wheatfield Road, Bradley Stoke.
